Zoning can change and varies by street, so confirm a specific address with Orange County Public Schools' Find My School tool, and compare school grades in the Florida School Accountability Reports.
Is Alora the same as Laurel Pointe or Isles of Lake Nona?
No. Laurel Pointe is a separate Toll Brothers neighborhood of single-family homes on the north side of Luminary Boulevard, and Isles of Lake Nona is a Pulte Homes neighborhood. Alora is the Toll Brothers townhome neighborhood on Sinatra Lane. Orange County Property Appraiser records use the label "Isles of Lake Nona" for Alora parcels, but that is only a county valuation label.
Can you rent out a townhome in Alora?
No Alora-specific leasing rules turned up in our research. The City of Orlando's home-sharing rules, in effect since July 1, 2018, allow stays under 30 days only when the resident lives on site and is present. Renting out an entire home short term counts as a commercial dwelling unit, which needs different zoning and licensing, so whole-home rentals under 30 days aren't allowed in Alora. HOA documents often limit leasing, so confirm the current rules with the association before buying if you plan to rent.
